Each month, a member of the group will give a brief presentation on web sites. Some members present sites based on the same theme (for example, real estate), others tell us about sites that cover a broad range of subjects.

    A metasearch engine that will search all the web sites for whatever you wish, including news, pictures, videos, MP3 files, FTP sites. The site is customizable and allows you to change many visual aspects with a skinning feature.

    "Your source for music." $bb Links to free music, CDs, DVDs, and audio equipment, and a "search engine" listing sponsored links. $bb This site used to offer a free program called DupeLocator. Now the site is up for sale.

      Here is a site that "rescured" DupeLocater when Midnight Blue Software stopped offering software. The program is no longer supported so beware. $bb DupeLocator allows you to specify folders to scan in which it will look for duplicate files. Names and dates of files are not used in determining which files are duplicates; rather, it looks at the content of all files in the specified folders, and if the content is identical, you are presented with a list of matching files.
