Smart Computing

Smart Computing is an excellent computer magazine and website. Our group can get free subscriptions. Some of the features of Smart Computing magazine include

· plain-English writing style

· helpful columns

Some of us in the group are already subscribers and we highly recommend it. The intended audience for this magazine is for all levels of computer users from beginners to advanced computer users.

Smart Computing has a sister publication called Computer Power User (CPU). CPU maintains the same style and quality as Smart Computing, but is intended for intermediate-to-advanced computer users and has more to do with hardware than software.

Smart Computing's publisher produces other magazines including PC Today and CE Tips. They have a handy chart that guides you on selecting the right magazines based on what kind of computer user you are and what kind of information the magazines provide.

When you are a subscriber to any of their computer magazines, you are also a member of SmartComputing.com. As a member, you have access through their websitte, to all the entire articles printed in their magazines. In fact, if you're interested in subscribing, check out their website, where you can read the first portion of each and every article. It gives you a kind of a try before you buy opportunity.

The special offer from Smart Computing for our user group is very simple. For every five paid subscriptions to either magazine, ASCIi will be awarded a free one-year subscription to either magazine. We can use the free subscription in any way we wish, which could include using it as a door prize giveaway. If you're already a subscriber and you win the free subscription, you can have it extend your current subscription.

This offer is not limited to just our members. Friends, relatives, and neighbors may also have their subscriptions credited toward our group!
